From 1994 through 1999 I worked with thousands if K through 12 students, teachers, administrators and community arts organizations throughout the state of Iowa.

The program featured the use of computers and related audio and visual technology, introducing students to how this technology was used in the creation of music, movie and video soundtracks, video game sound tracks, the nature of sound, manipulating recorded sounds, and more. Residencies ranged in length from one day presentation and a concert, to 8 months. Generally, the residency consisted of a 1- or 2-week visit, which included an introduction concert and presentation, followed by several days of hands on sound capturing, editing, composition and culminating in a final concert for the school or art center, which included the student participants. Lots of discovery, laughter and fun!
